MOZZARELLA STUFFED MEATBALLS WITH SPAGHETTI
USING CO-OP GOLD DRIED SPAGHETTI
|1||pound extra lean ground beef or turkey|
|1||CO-OP GOLD egg, slightly beaten|
|1||clove garlic, minced|
|1||teaspoon CO-OP GOLD Italian Seasoning|
|¼||teaspoon black pepper|
|150||grams mozzarella cheese cut into ½inch cubes|
|½||cup parmesan cheese, shredded|
|1||730 mL jar CO-OP GOLD tomato basil pasta sauce|
|500||grams CO-OP GOLD spaghetti|

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey or beef, egg, breadcrumbs, worcestershire, garlic, CO-OP GOLD Italian Seasoning, salt and pepper with your hands.
Using a small scoop, scoop the meatball mixture into approximately 1" diameter.
Take a piece of cubed mozzarella and stuff it into the centre of the meatball, making sure to cover the cheese completely with meat. Repeat until all of the meat mixture has been used.
Heat a large frying pan over medium high heat. Place the meatballs in the pan and brown them for 2 minutes on each side. If using lean ground beef, remove some of the fat.
Pour the marinara sauce evenly into the skillet and turn the heat to medium low. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes.
Cook spaghetti according to pasta directions.
Top the meatballs with shredded parmesan cheese and serve with spaghetti.
